Update

Well, here I am with a sore throat but at least I know why: on top of everything else, I was diagnosed with a fungal infection of the mouth and am now on a round of diflucan for ten days. The person who diagnosed this latest event is Dr. Robinson, a dentist in the stomatology dept at UCSF. I went there yesterday for a pre-radiation consult to make sure my teeth were strong enough for me to undergo radiation to my face (they are). The alternative (not really an option in my mind) was to have whatever offending teeth extracted prior to treatment. How many times and in how many ways can I mention that having cancer sucks?

Long time, no news.

If possible, please post a quick note to let us know how you're doing.

Thinking good thoughts...

i am a highschool student at Neah-Kah-Nie highschool and we are doing a project on how a cancer patient lives in a week. With full treatment and the effects and feeling that come along with it we would love to have you share if you would like to.
Thanks
